Rouen Airport (URO), La Havre Airport (LEH), Caen-Carpiquet Airport (CFR) and Cherbourg Airport (CER) are all smaller airports with connections in Paris.

Normandy ferries

One of the most popular ways to reach Normandy is by ferry. It is always spectacular to see the coast of France coming into view, and even more so to come upon the beaches of Normandy just as the Allied troops did on D-Day. Most high speed crossings can be done under one hour. Most ferries leave the UK to Normandy from Portsmouth. Port cities in Normandy are Cherbourg, Caen, La Havre and Dieppe. Visit Direct Ferries for travel information.

Normandy car rental

Reaching further into the Normandy region is done one of two ways: train or car. There are opportunities to rent cars at the airports or at Normandy’s major ports, including Caen, Dieppe, Le Havre and Cherbourg.
